Expecting the Unexpected: 'Supernatural'

Swimming laps around the pool, he wasn’t expecting the sudden vice like grip on his ankle. He wasn’t expecting to be dragged down below the surface, or the mouthful of water that he sucked in at the unexpected attack.

He wasn’t expecting to hear laughter when he came back to the surface, choking and spitting out the chlorinated liquid.

But he really should have known better.

“You’re such a jerk!”

The words were shouted through his hacking, and there was no mistaking the ‘bitch’ that rang through the laughter.

Sam really should have expected something like this from his brother.
